How do I move my data to a new iPhone?
iCloud Sync
To ensure your data syncs seamlessly to your new device, you'll need to have iCloud sync enabled for Progress and be signed into the same Apple Account on both devices. This allows your data to be backed up to iCloud and restored into your new device.
To do this, please follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap Your Name at the top
- Tap iCloud
- Tap Saved to iCloud to view the apps using iCloud
- Ensure Progess is toggled on
Please note: after getting a new device your data can take some time to sync.
Exporting and Importing Data
If you don't have iCloud Sync enabled or you're unable to sign into the same Apple Account on both devices and want to manually export and import your data between devices, please follow these steps:
- Open the Progress app and tap to view the Me tab in the bottom right
- Scroll down to tap Manage Data (Backup & Restore)
- On your old device, tap Export All Data to create a backup. You can then save the backup to your Files or send it to your new device via Airdrop, Email, etc.
- On your new device, tap Import from Backup and then Import Data to import the same .ZIP file
